Rollers

Types are:

Al2O3 Rollers with a application temperature up to 1300°C

Metal Rollers with a application temperature up to 1100°C

SIC Rollers with a application temperature up to 1800°C

ALOXI Rollers

Fast-burning kilns (roller kilns) represent the optimum of sintering technology in tile industry. In the field of sanitation, metal and glass industry roller kilns are used for refining processes, too.Schwendler is the most important supplier of Aloxi rollers worldwide.

Application temperatures for aloxi form 80 to 1350°C with constant rotation of the rollers. Aloxi rollers are products of highest dimensional accuracy. To prevent temperature radiation they are available sealed on both sides by a heat-resistant fibre.

In operation, the roller drive should not be turned off till the kiln has cooled down Usually Aloxi rollers are pre dried of the kiln. For that purpose the Aloxi rollers should be stored on the kiln for 48 hours.
